The phrase Fear of Scots sounds as if it belongs to a warning shouted from a castle wall. Mark uses it as the hook for a short, playful piece of Borderlands film-making.

The historical frontier was never one unchanging story of two peoples facing each other. It was a place of conflict, trade, kinship and movement. The Short is a quick invitation to look beyond the familiar image of a border that existed only to keep people apart.
