Discover Scottish Borders Meets Borders College

Mark spent a great day with Simon Watson’s class from Borders College last week.

The students have been studying Borders history, getting out to see the sites and also making videos of their adventures. They have been using some of our films to get inspiration for their trips.

On our day out we visited Neidpath Railway tunnel in Peebles (legendary hiding place of Tunnelling Tommy the Teviotdale Tiger). All of the students and Simon and me were brave enough to walk the entire inky blackness of that abyss.

Happy to report that everyone came out the other end!!

Great to see so many people with a real interest in Border history and getting out to see it!!

Fancy seeing these places for yourself?

Mark offers dedicated day trips that focus on experiencing these places and finding out more about your family history in the Scottish Borders.
