Braw Lads Gathering Galashiels 2019

All the Border towns have Common Ridings or Gatherings where hundreds of local people on horseback and on foot commemorate the history and traditions of the town. Today is the turn of Galashiels.

Horses have always been an integral part of Border life going back to the Reiving times.
